The banter is enjoyable and realistic, age appropriate given that they're two moody teens cooped up in a car together and with just the right amount tension to both keep things gen and leave readers who want to see more with something to think about.

It manages to present a set of events wherein it becomes not only practical for Sylar and Claire to work together, but a friendship starts to form, without once white-washing their acrimonious past.
