Review: What Ouran Academy really needed to become even crazier than it already was, were week-long visiting lecturers.
I'm a little leery about reccing the entire series, simply because I am only familiar with the first three crossover canons. Nevertheless, each chapter stands comfortably on its own, and I do recommend the first three chapters without reservation. To summarize:
Chapter One: Fruits Basket is such a shoujo series, that having it collide with Ouran (which may be shoujo but certainly spends more time parodying it than playing the tropes straight) was a stroke of genius. Shigure's interactions and musings about the Ouran students were delightfully in-character, as were their reactions to him. I particularly liked his attempts to bring out "Black Mori".
Chapter Two: Yuki as a willing guest lecturer is a harder sell, but his more cynical nature acts as the glass of cold water to the face that Ouran characters desperately need. Plus, it's at this point that a certain thematic repetition starts to become apparent. Namely, that the lecturers will a) determine that Haruhi is a girl, and b) be able to tell that the twins are faking their incestual relationship.
Chapter Three: Muraki should never have been allowed past the doorstep of a high school. The reader knows just what he's like, and there's a dark humor in seeing the Ouran students get creeped out while remaining ignorant of his crimes.
I am confident that the remaining two chapters are also comedy gold, and personally enjoyed reading them, but I can't be certain that the crossover characters are as in-character as the first three lecturers were. Then again, the series does not have an ongoing plot as such, and the first three chapters stand as a great medium-length story.

Review: "Due to a HILARIOUS MISHAP, Tamaki thinks Haruhi is in love with Kyouya, and decides to hatch a brilliant plan to keep Kyouya from Haruhi and show Haruhi how fickle love is. But who is right for Kyouya, anyway? How much does Haruhi know? Why are the twins so smug? And where did the chalkboard in the garden come from?"
BONUS REC! Ahahah, Ouran fandom, don't ever change. The canon is perfectly suited to humorous send-ups like this story. Needless to say, all of the above questions will be answered to the reader's satisfaction - well, except that Ouran never explains where any of the outlandish props come from. Every character gets a chance to shine, and the ending is utterly satisfying.

Review: "Things get complicated when it's not just 'our world' and 'everything outside our world' anymore." Hikaru and Kaoru both want Haruhi, and neither is willing to step aside for the other. Is there any way for one of the twins to get Haruhi AND preserve their sibling relationship?
Ouran Host Club, for those not aware, is set at a rich high school in Japan, and is one of the few high school fandoms I like - it's zany, the characters get fleshed out admirably and act like people rather than stereotypes, and the heroine is a no-nonsense, studious "commoner" who pushes the rich boys of her acquaintance into becoming better people. Ouran is a fandom with only one girl, and six+ guys who have varying levels of interest in her. (It sounds like a reverse harem, but it really isn't.) Canonically, the twins fall on the "want to date her" end of the affection scale. The twins also have a scary amount of mental issues (as do most of the Hosts), and don't have a lot of experience in acting alone/against one another.
I worry about what the twins may end up doing in canon {please don't tell me what's going on in the manga; I'm pretending that the anime is the only canon to preserve my sanity}, but Miko no da has thankfully offered a third option. I won't spoil that for you, but I don't mind telling you that the majority of the fic is about the twins struggling to find that option. It's angsty, the twins are suffering, and at times I wondered how it could ever be resolved. I was satisfied by the end, and glad the twins and Haruhi were finding happiness.
