Title: Paper Chase by sam_storyteller (PG-13)
Fandom: White Collar/Sherlock BBC
Pairing: gen, with innuendo
Categories: humor, adventure, drama, crossover
Length: Medium (~9,200 words)
Warnings: n/a

Review:
Sherlock (and John) and Peter (and Neal) are drafted to help find a serial killer who is targeting artists. Then someone gets a bright idea about pitting the ultimate escape artist against the world's only consulting detective. Hijinks ensue.
This fic is simply a joy to read, as everyone involved is mostly having a bundle of fun (even when there's a serial killer to catch -- thanks, Sherlock!) The Sherlock vs. Neal chase is brilliant all by itself and the character interactions delightful. Highly entertaining and very satisfying.

Post-movie John and Matt are living together until Matt's insurance money comes through. Then Matt's mom shows up.
I have a tough time reviewing DH4 fics because the significant majority of them have the same plot (post-movie with one or more of: John and/or Matt angsts over age differences, they move in together, John meets Matt's family, Lucy finds out) and this particular fic is no different. Thus I'll just say that if you like well-written DH4 fics, then you'll probably like this one. A relaxing, not-too-angsty read.

A few short scenes after the end of the series, as Han Gyul adapts to Eun Chan being back in his life.
I almost never rec (or read) stories this short, but this is one of the longest Coffee Prince stories out there and the best one I've read so far. Everyone's in character, the cameos are great (especially Sun Ki's), and the story's as cute and adorable as the series it's based on. A lovely, sweet coda.

John sends seven-year-old Dean off to summer camp. Neither Dean nor three-year-old Sam take it well.
I don't know who I feel more bad for in this fic: John, or the poor camp counselor who is stuck with Dean. Suffice to say that they both have a miserable time as Dean and Sam made their unhappiness *very* clear. And it's hilarious, especially Sam who is clearly evil. In the most adorable way possible. I do have to admit that the ending didn't work for me, but it's more than made up for by the utter hilarity that came before.
