Going through my memories, I've noticed that SGA, which was supposed to be one of the major fandoms of this comm, has fewer recs than Smallville (*Smallville*!) Worse, most of the SGA fics that are recced aren't even epic in length. Unfortunately, the problem seems to lie in the fact that my pool of epic length SGA fics is very small, primarily because folks in SGA don't archive very often (not that I can say anything, as Proposition and Push/Pull *still* aren't archived, *sigh*). What's more frustrating is the fact that I know there are epic length (250K+) SGA stories out there, I just can't find them.
Which is where you come in:)
Things to keep in mind:
-Recced stories can be any length, any fandom, and any pairing, as long as they fit the theme
-You don't need to write a review (unless you want to). All that you need to include are title, author, and link to the story (all parts if there are more than one).
That said, have at it!

-The Sentinel

Also, try googling for MacGyver fan fiction, MacGyver slash, Richard dean Anderson fan fiction, etc. And you can find FanFiction.Net's MacGyver section here (http://www.fanfiction.net/tv/MacGyver/), about 135 stories of varying quality.
I thought about putting together a thematic list for you, and I still might later, but right now I'm working on my The Sentinel/Harry Potter crossovers thematic list and I don't really feel like starting another, to be honest.
As for MacGyver slash pairings, I can think of several: Mac/Murdoc, Mac/Pete Thornton, Mac/Jack Dalton, Mac/Trumbo (from ep Trumbo's World), Mac/Any of several minor male characters whose names I can't remember at the moment... and of course, Mac crosses over well with almost any fandom, which opens up plenty of pairing options.
Though, Mac crossovers...wow, that opens up so many possibilities. Do you remeber the the titles of any good oens off the top of your head?
Thanks for the links!
I don't find it to difficult to envision Mac/Jack in a relationship, but I do find Mac/Pete to be a little difficult to take. I really, really wish that someone would write some Mac/Trumbo slash - ever since I saw that episode, I've been convinced of its inherent slashiness. lol.

Stargate/Macgyver:
Buried (http://www.janedavitt.com/Buried.html) by Jane Davitt
Mild R; Daniel/MacGyver;
MacGyver's sent to an Egyptian dig to investigate some thefts and meets a young Daniel Jackson, whose shadowed past is about to darken his future.
Okay, does Cindy Combs sound familiar as the author? Cause she has a whole *series* of Sentinel/Mac fic (though, unfortunately, it appears to be gen). All of which I'm reading tonight, of course:)
And thanks for the rec! I like Jane's work, so this promises to be an interesting story.
Huh. Guess I'm not quite over that grumpiness, huh? :)
