Review:
While our favorite trio of ex-spies (plus Tony Stark) are helping a woman escape from her evil wepons-dealing boyfriend, Fiona is kidnapped.  It's up to the guys to save her.

I have to admit, I'm not particularly thrilled by the Iron Man parts of this fic.  That said, the interactions between the Burn Notice characters more than makes up for it.  Michael and Fiona's dysfunctional relationship, Michael and Sam's off-beat friendship, and (my personal favorite) Fiona and Sam's 'we don't like each other, really we don't, and to prove it we will snipe at each other like bitchy drama queens except when we're comparing notes on women's fashion, because hot shoes trancend the need to snark at my competition for Michael's attention' rivalry are all depicted brilliantly.  Sam's dialogue in particular just jumps right off the page to dazzle you and I've basically decided that it's impossible for Sam not to be awesome, no matter who writes him.  (Bruce Campbell is my hero.)

Short version: the relationships rock, Michael's wit is dry, and Sam is awesome.  Go read!

This? Best description of the whole "love triangle" BN has going on that I've ever heard :D

Why thank you:) I have to admit that I don't particularly care if Fiona and Michael get back together and I absolutely hate the whole super-powerful, super-secret, eeeeeevil agency that can do anything except, apparently what they need Michael to do, even though what they can do with their resources is a billion times more intricate and difficult than anything Michael pulls off (as amazing as he is) plotline, but I adore the interactions between Fiona and Sam, Michael and Sam, and Michael, Fiona, and Sam.

So, basically, I like Sam:)

I agree on all points. (Seriously, super secret spy agency a sedentary Michael is going to take down by himself? Weak. He's uber awesome REGARDLESS. I'd love a spy v. spy type thing...)

I LOVE Sam. I love Bruce Campbell, which is why I started watching Burn Notice. Let's just draw a heart around Sambo and call it awesomecakes.

The very idea that a) the evil agency *needs* Michael and that b) Michael is going to eventually bring them down (a la the X-Files, grr) is ridiculous. And frustrating. And not at all as interesting as season one, which was just Michael, Fiona, and Sam going around being awesome together.

I miss season one...

On the other hand, yay Sam!

The Iron Man parts are my fault because I threw out the challenge in my request for Tony to show up. Blame me.

That said, I freaked out for hours after reading it because it was everything I'd hoped for and more.

I just have to wait a little bit longer and I can find out who my beautiful wonderful santa was.

Honestly, it's my fault for only really liking Tony Stark when he's having sex. *cough* Overall, though, the story rocks my socks and has made me actually consider reading Burn Notice fanfic as a whole (which I've been avoiding for a year, seeing as I already have too many fandoms to reasonably follow:)
