spn_j2_bigbang, this is the story-arc of first season of Supernatural told as a Medieval era travel log. It follows the Winchester brothers from a monastery in York, to London, to Venice as they search for their father. The yellow-eyed demon still haunts Sam's dreams, and both the demon's minions and the Church want something from the brothers.
I rather liked the historical elements of the story, and how the author adapted canon details into time appropriate elements, such as Dean's beloved black horse instead of a car, and Sam becoming a monk versus attending college. There's great brotherly banter, I found the travel through medieval Europe fascinating. Ellen even (in this, Elena) has brief cameo.
My only complaint is that a lot feels unresolved by the end; I wish there was a sequel with an adaptation of later seasons of the series.
