Review:
Astolat (aka Shalott) is a good author in many fandoms, but she really does her best work with Smallville fic. Most of her stories are future fic and feature a just-this-side-of-evil Lex, an earnest but not stupid Clark (something canon has yet to master), and usually has a cameo by the most awesome version of Batman ever written, be it on screen or paper.

Revenge, which is inspired by a particularly crack-tastic bit from the comics (there's a link in the story so you can see just how much crack DC comics has been smoking), features a dark, repressed Lex; a confused, but slightly less repressed Clark; and Joker, who brings the red kryptonite. You can imagine what happens. And it happens on live TV. Broadcast worldwide. And that's just the first half of the story! A fun and funny bit of semi-dark fluff.

Oh my god, I remember this story. I read it when I was tearing through all of Shallot's stuff (I don't read much Smallville, because I started with her and punk, and just could not get into anyone else's) and it's... just... it's... hilarious. I am now off to read it again. Thanks!

Smallville was my first ever slash fandom. In fact, I only got into SGA because of an SGA/Smallville crossover and I was so hooked by SGA that I started to branch out. So, essentially it all started with the Clex:)
