Review:
My favorite Caroline Crane story. This story splits off from canon after the third season; unlike in canon, the events of the season finale result in Greg leaving CSI and then leaving Vegas entirely. His departure causes Nick to realize just how much Greg meant to him, but it might just be too late.

There are so many things I like about this fic, from Nick's unrelenting thick-headedness, to the fact that Nick doesn't have gay issues (yay!), to the way Greg's parents act just like real parents. My favorite aspect, however, has to be the realistic difficulties in trying to begin, much less maintain, a long-distance relationship. Plus, you know, relationship angst. Can't go wrong there.

I was bored, had nothing to read and I remembered your community.. This is such a fabulous fic, thanks for the rec! CSI is not even my fandom - I mean I watch it on TV, but I haven´t been reading any fics.

I think I´m gonna read all fics from this author. It´s going to occupy me for a while, I think. :-)

And she's written a ton, enjoy! (Though, I have to warn you, there's only a couple of fics by this author that I actually like, which is frustrating since she's such a good writer. Unfortunately, I rarely agree with her characterizations.)

Thank you! Last time I'd checked her LJ, she hadn't posted this fic yet and I have to admit that I forgot to keep checking (too many recs, not enough time to keep track of them all:)
