Iruka is approached by a dog that leads him to Kakashi, who has managed to get stuck hanging upside down from a tree while testing a trap devised by the late Yondaime Hokage. Unable to free himself, the Jounin asks Iruka for help: it's the beginning of a long (and very interesting) process.

Maldoror is one of those great writers that don’t use humor as an excuse for poor characterization and/or implausible situations. On the contrary: Kakashi and Iruka are wonderfully written and the plot is very well developed. Add to that Pakkun's delightful cameo (seriously, that nin-dog is made of awesome) and the fantastic ending and you get a smart, funny and very enjoyable fic.
