Review:
This story has a little different tone from the first rec but it’s no less wonderful as it presents another view of Mindy’s life after the events of the movie. I like the recurring theme of masks and how the author weaves together Mindy’s attempts to reconcile both her Mindy and Hit Girl personas with who she was, who she is, and who she wants to be. Mindy is a fabulous subject for coming of age stories and this one is full and rich and a joy to read.
