Review :
David and Leigh Eddings' books have been one of my guilty pleasure for many years. Especially their Belgariad and Malloreon serie. I enjoy the verse they have created, their characters be they men or women which is not always the case in Fantasy books.
In this fic, I find once more all that I love in the original books. DawningStare makes the characters of Zathak and Cyriadis shine beautifully. They are becoming more full-fleshed all through the story. And the re-imaging of Zakath and Cyriadis romance rings so true it reconcile me with one part of the original plot I had the less enjoyed.
