Summary:
Post-Small Favor, Harry gets invited on a date by everyone’s favorite mob boss, and then things get weird.
Review:
Marcone asks Harry out on a date. Naturally, Harry finds this suspicious. Meanwhile, Odd things are happening around town, and in the middle of his investigations, Harry finds out that Marcone has been arrested for murder...the murder of Harry Dresden, in fact. There follows a long, exciting mystery and adventure involving pretty much all the extended cast of the Dresden-verse.
This feels like it could be a novel in the series, if Butcher actually shipped Dresden/Marcone, and I love how close it feels to the source material while be very aware of some of the problems in canon. I really enjoyed the characterizations, especially Harry's, and in many ways this story has become my head canon (leading to confusion when I realize its not).

"Bob! Marcone set himself up to be found holding a smoking gun and standing twenty feet away from a body that looked enough like me to fool Murphy! He framed himself for my murder, and I need to know how and why."

Comments
I think there are some long run-on sentences in the first few paragraphs, but mostly I felt like the voice/tone/vocabulary used fit well with canon.
