Review:
If I were to write a letter to this fic with everything I love about it, I would start at the title and the way you think it refers to one brother but then you think a little more and realize it could refer to the other brother. I would move on to the humorous summary which sets the tone for what’s to come. I would wax on about the non linear storytelling style and how I normally hate it but it completely works for me here. Next I would discuss the interactive storytelling with the links and how it’s done right and adds to the story, and how you have to click the link to get the ‘punchline’ per se.

All of these are things I love about this story but there’s one thing, one word, to describe what I love best: Dean. I would never expect to find such a strong and true Dean characterization in a short, essentially crack fic, but I did. This fic has early series Dean-the-big-brother before angels and demon blood addictions and Ruby and Cas and vessels and apocalypses. This is Dean - competent, protective, and resourceful with sense of humor firmly intact.

On the surface this fic is humorous and enjoyable and fun and you should read it for those reasons alone. But I think the reason it stands out is because below the surface it’s also a little more. It’s Dean Winchester doing what he does best, being Sam’s totally awesome older brother.
