Summary:
Jack O'Neill is not very good at being retired. Dean Winchester is not very good at staying out of trouble. And there's something lurking in these here woods....

Review:
Jack is bored in retirement and Dean is alone with Sam away at college and John off doing his own hunts. They run into each other when they both are investigating a series of unexplained deaths; neither is thrilled by running into a "civilian" in the woods. Despite their partnership getting off to a rocky start, including Dean getting injured by the supernatural threat, the two work together to lay the spirit to rest.

The series continues with a wee prequel in which Sam encounters Sheppard of Stargate: Atlantis, and sequels where John Winchester is extremely suspicious of this Jack guy his son is hanging out with, and a couple other fluffy sequels.

The fun of this series is seeing two funny and snarky guys meeting and bouncing off each other. They fight, they bond, they joke and it's a blast. Throw in a case for them to investigate, and have a blast.
