Summary:
The way Frank Lundy finds a killer. AU for the end of Season 2. Lundy stays in Miami.

Review:
Instead of leaving Miami, Lundy retires and is in a relationship with Deb. The more time he contemplates the Bay Harbor Butcher, the more he sees holes in the resolution of the case. This leads to a very interesting excursion and conversation with Dexter.

I was really upset with the way the show handled Lundy in second season; I thought they really dropped the ball on an awesome potential storyline. This was the fix-it fic I'd been waiting for, showing what could have happened if they'd given Lundy chance to continue his investigations and if they'd explored the relationships between the characters, especially Lundy and Dexter.

Basingstoke really delivered with a pitch-perfect characterizations and dialogue, especially with Deb. Told through Lundy's POV, it showcases his intelligence and cleverness and gives a outside view of Dexter in all his sociopathy.
