Summary:
Adam and Kris meet at Adam's mother's house on Thanksgiving. Adam is bitter post-breakup and Kris is shy and newly arrived in L.A. to pursue his dreams of breaking into the music industry. They click.
Review:
This is a sweet and fun romance set during Thanksgiving celebrations, so I thought it'd be an apt rec for this week.
Set in an AU where Kris goes to L.A. on his own, long before he did in reality, and spends the holiday with his mother's college friend, Adam's mother. The story is told from Adam's POV, and it's fun to see how his perspective on Kris alters through the night. I also enjoyed the family interactions, especially their reactions to Adam and Kris' infatuation. The sequels are little nibbles of follow up fluff, showing a phone conversation after their meeting, their first date and later a domestic snapshot.
