Review:
Ray gets himself kidnapped by a cabal of evil nurses (or something) and after a few days of mind-altering drugs doesn't remember anything or anyone. The story starts with him holed up in a room, taking potshots at Fraser, Welsh, Huey, and Dewey, who are barricaded outside in the hallway until Fraser convinces Ray to let him in to talk. (Ray requires that Fraser strip first, natch.)

This story is all about the awesome: Fraser. Ray. Welsh. Huey. The nurse sneaking pictures of Fraser in his boxers. Hell, even *Dewey* is awesome. In fact the only thing that isn't 100% awesome is the ending, which is kind of abrupt (I suspect that she was writing for a deadline and ran out of time), but that's more than made up for by the absolute awesomeness of amnesia!Ray, who is a little gay and who is absolutely convinced that the bad guys sent Fraser in as part of a honey-pot trap. Just...awesome. Perfect if you need a laugh.

Oh, I never told you how much I enjoyed this rec! I wasn't, in fact, writing for a deadline, the story just kind of -- ran out. I mean, I just wrote it down as it came to me, and that's how it came. But I've always felt the ending was kind of odd and abrupt and too much of a tone switch, and I'm weirdly delighted to see someone else acknowledging that. People never say this stuff in fandom! But it's so true!

Heh. I often say things that aren't usually said in fandom:)

I'm very happy you enjoyed the rec! (And I feel your pain when it comes to endings -- by the time I get to the end of my stories, I always have to fight the urge to rush them, because by that point my inspiration is usually well and truly drained:)
