Review: So, this is not one for the quick hurtcomfort/angst fix. You'll be dragged into it pretty quickly and then you won't be able to leave (mwuahahaha).
This fic with its eleven parts (so far) delivers most EXCELLENT angst and hurt comfort. Tons of it. Anything you can imagine. Emotional and physical. Sexy and platonic. Real and imagined. You want cuddling? You get it. You want serious bodily injury? You'll get it. You want psychological breakdown? You'll get it. Every character gets their share.

Oh yeah, and there's tons of action and plot and sideplots. Brilliant characterization of every single character. My absolute favourite take on Lex Luthor how he should have been had certain events not happened. I'll stop now. Just read it please? And let Lanning know that we still very much appreciate what she has written.

Ah thanks for clearing that up. And I am so pleased that there's someone who hasn't read it! This fic is so dear to my heart, I have re-read it many times over the years and written to the author regularly, encouraging her to work on it and giving her some appreciation *g*

The individual parts can actually sometimes be read as standalones - the overarching big plot is moving slowly and there are many lovely character moments to enjoy even without knowing how it ends.
