Author Website: Seto's Darkness @ FF.net
Author's Summary:
This is a world where everyone is segregated to being a plus and a minus. This is a world where Sawada Tsunayoshi is a zero. This is a world where he doesn't belong.
Review:
Despite the war-torn dystopian universe this fic takes place in, this is an angst-free fic that is just as strange and funny as the manga itself. Instead of inheriting the position of Vongola boss, Tsuna attracts interest due to feats such as putting out Gokudera's bombs and accidentally standing on Reborn. The author really has the tone of the manga down, their verse fitting the absurdity of the early chapters well without it feeling like a straight up rewrite despite using familiar scenes.
The Tsuna/Hibari is done well - though Tsuna is a little too oblivious for my taste for my taste sometimes - with Hibari happily very much in character, still his strange, violent and funny self even with their developing relationship. I wasn't sure whether to tag this fic as romance, but despite the non-demonstrative nature of their relationship they definitely have one - just a strange, Hibari type one. The writing is a bit iffy in places, with a random tense switch or misspelling here and there, but these issues are minor enough that they shouldn't stop you enjoying this fic.
