Summary: On their first official date, Kurt and Blaine discover all the wonders of kissing, and how to make peace with one Burt Hummel.

Review:
I hope this counts for this week's theme--it's only a short little ditty, but it's terribly fluffy and romantic.

This one-shot is sweet and funny, a little bit sexy, and hopelessly heart-melting. It's canon compliant and I'm glad to say that Kurt and Blaine's characterizations are also very canon compliant. And excellent. And well-done. You can probably tell that good characterization turns me on.

The couple of scenes with Burt Hummel are just how you'd want them to be--he's trying to impose himself as the "scary dad", but you can tell that he's actually very happy for his son. The tension built up in those scenes is then perfectly relieved in the best way possible--kissing. (Not kissing Burt! Kissing Kurt. Obviously.) And that just makes the kissing even hotter.
