Review: This is a lushly detailed fic, that takes the already rather dark "Snow White and the Huntsman" and gives it a darker edge by adding in Daemons, and some very old-world symbolism related to what would happen in a world where having to live without your daemon was common.

In most daemon!verse stories I've read the author's shy away from writing a story that would separate a person and their soul permanently. Antistar, instead highlights this very realistic eventuality of war.

For all it's dark beginnings, the story does has a satisfyingly happy ending, so you don't need to worry about starting this if you can't stand to read unhappy endings.
