Review:
One of the better Ritchieverse Holmes/Watson stories out there, this story has the characterization down perfectly. Holmes' cocaine addiction and Watson's gambling problem are not glossed over as they are in the movies, which makes for quite a bit of angst and drama. The details in the story give it depth and help set a lovely pace so the story doesn't seem rushed. The perfect balance of angst and humor keep the story from becoming overly dark.
