I'm sorry I didn't post a rec last week but I went to see my best friend for a bit more than a week and I didn't realize I would have no internet acces during that time...
Title : Whispers in Corners
Fandom : Sherlock/Harry Potter
Pairings : Harry Potter/Mycroft Holmes
Categories : A/U, Crossover, Drama, First time, Humor, Supernatural
Length : Epic (~ 67000 words)
Warnings : N/A
Author website : esama on fanfiction.net
Author lj : N/A
Summary:
For Harry, everything started with a stumble - his new life in a new world as well as his surprisingly successful career as a medium.
Review :
This fic mixes one of my first fandom, Harry Potter, with one of my most recent one, Sherlock which makes it a very nice surprise. And esama manages to makes this crossover work quite easily with a nice plot and well-written characters be they from canon or not.
I like how her characters have some problems but are never maudlin. Most of them are competent in their own way and ready to confront their lives.
I must admit there were some mistakes but all in all they didn't distract me from the story.
It's really a very nice read and one of the best views of Mycroft I've ever seen.
