Summary:
Vampire Arthur and Goatherd Eames, in a village in an undetermined historical time period, embroiled in a farming dramedy.

Review:
When Eames is herding his goats home one day, he happens upon an unconscious man (Arthur). He takes him home only to discover the man is a vampire. There follows an odd little romance. All the Inception characters are there as quirky villagers; I particularly like Cobb in this, with his plan to incept Fischer's corn fields with beans and his peculiar romancing style with Mal. The best thing about this is just weaterfront's overall writing style (see quote below) which is just charming. There are little bits of the fic (either turns of phrase or images) that stuck with me afterwards for quite awhile.

Eames thinks that it's ironic, how beautiful Arthur looks in that moment. He looks alive, and he looks invincible, and it's really too bad that people are always the most beautiful just as they're walking away from you. Just as they shatter into hundreds of bats and leave you.
