And now for something completely different. Written for Yuletide 2009, this is RPF of the weekly NPR news quiz show, told in transcript format. Nestra perfectly captured the voices of the regular guests on the show, as they keep broadcasting during the zombie apocalypse and continue with their political satire.

Further, the podfic is amazing, especially if you've ever heard the show. They even have the Wait, Wait opening music, and each person is read by a different podficcer.

As long as transcript format and fic about real people aren't deal-breakers for you, this is a fun little fic with mentions of the Daily Show and politicians (and how they all would react to the zombie apocalypse) and a perfect imitation of the source material.
