Review:
Mikey and Frank get caught making out by the paparazzi. They decide to come out. Some don’t take it as well as others.

I really didn’t expect this story to go in this direction. It started out as a simple enough plot and it would have been really quite good as just that, something where Mikey and Frank had to deal with the press and general homophobia associated with them coming out. But it works even better as it’s written--as more a hurt/comfort story than anything else.

Pete and Frank are really great together in this. Yes, they don’t like each other in this at first, for obvious reasons, but their ability to put all the pettiness aside for Mikey really works. Their slowly developing friendship is really perfect, since they are both such hyper people to begin with. When the final relationship develops it’s completely believable. This is a nice long read, with my only complaint being that it ends too soon, but even in that it has a good ending.
