Review:
When John Shepperd makes a pass at Spencer Smith (thinking he’s a girl), Spencer gets his own off-world team. It goes without saying that Jon Walker and Ryan Ross are on his team, after all, Jon’s the kind of guy he’d want at his back no matter what, and Ryan and he have been friends for as long as he can remember. Choosing the last member is a bit more difficult, and he’s worried he made the wrong decision by asking Brenden Urie to be a member of his team. After all, Brenden seems to be a little bit in love with him.

This ‘verse is one of those groups of stories where you can read one and then come back to read the next one a couple weeks later. Each is a self-contained story with a self-contained plot that just happens to revolve around some of the same groups of people. I adore how silly some of the stories are and how angsty others are and how sweet others are.

Although this is a crossover with Stargate Atlantis, the author calls it a fusion, and I certainly understand why. This is almost more a Bandom AU set in the Stargate Atlantis ‘verse, but the SGA gang is still around, in the background. In the Bandom side, the stories are told from so many different characters’ points of view they’re confusing for a Bandom pro. But they’re so well written at the same time that it’s worth going through the cheat sheet the author provides. Although the author has mentioned she may be adding more to this ‘verse, the stories to this point have a satisfying conclusion and are a fun read as they are now.
