Review: This is the Watchmen Fandom's answer to V is for Vendetta. In the wake of canon events a new, frightening government party has come to power. They have a stranglehold on the country and their aim is to stamp out all 'immoral' influences. Starting with masks.

Part of what I like about V is for Vendetta is how they showed the horrors of the government through the plight of a handful of citizens with little to no contact with the world at large. Solidarity uses the same set up. Almost the entire story takes place in one building and you learn about the government atrocities through the experiences of a handful of people.

It's a compelling and straight forward story about two people falling in love despite everything and it ends happily which is a nice change of pace from the usual distopian epics.
