Ray's relationship with his family (including his dead father) and how that affects his relationship with Fraser.

This fic is actually surprisingly sad at times -- unlike Dead!Bob Fraser, Dead!Pop Vecchio is as much of an asshole in death as he was in life and I feel really sorry for the fact that Vecchio can't get rid of this guy. At the same time, family (and not just dead family) is woven through this fic, from his relationship with his sister, to the burden of being the sole bread-winner of a family, to the fact that family wants what's best for you, even if it's not always easy for them. If you are a fan of Ray Vecchio, then this is definitely the fic for you.
