Review:
As Daniel falls in love with Teal'c, he struggles to find a way to accept his Goa'uld symbiote. The results cause ripples that affect the galaxy.
I've wanted to rec this story for a while, not just because I was one of the first people to get the chance to read it, but because this is the story that made me appreciate Teal'c in a whole new light. Which is to say, I realized while reading this that Jaffa, but most especially Teal'c, need love and companionship too. Admittedly, I should have realized this long ago but 'First Prime' was the first story that really and truly drove home the fact that Teal'c could and would be a well-rounded romantically inclined character.
Combine that little realization with the romantic struggle and exploration between Teal'c and Daniel, the affect it has on those around and beyond them, and the outside forces jockeying to make the teams' life just that much more difficult...well, you have an epic journey of love and adventure, SG-1 style. Who can pass that up?
First Prime
