Review:
Sark and a clueless Seth meet, flirt, and start casually sleeping together whenever Sark is in town. Things get complicated, however, when not only the CIA, but also his parents and friends, find out about Seth's fling.
I don't understand how anyone ever thought of putting these two together, but the writing is so amazing that I don't think it matters whether or not you buy the pairing. Seth's (3rd person) POV voice is hilarious and heartwarming---full of charming non-sequitors, pop-culture references, and adorable stream-of-consciousness self-awareness. The amazing characterization is extended to all characters, not just Seth, and there's a fantastic throwaway comment about Peter Gallagher's eyebrows, which will never not be funny. I'm mainly reccing the final installment, which opens as an established relationship/booty call, because it's much longer and more exciting than the other two, but the first ones are great, as well.
I have only ever seen one or two episodes of The OC, but I understood this perfectly; you only need to vaguely know who the main players are, no plotlines. And if you've never seen Alias, all you need to know is that Sark is a very young, very stylish, and very snarky international bad guy.
