Author's Summary: Sam is trying to become the Antichrist in order to save the world. He has a small army of angels and demons, he has an adoring cult, he has a work of prophecy by Jack Kerouac, and he has Dean. Things are going pretty well until he accidentally signs Dean up as his Beloved Consort, a role that requires sex with the Antichrist on an altar. And that's when things stop going pretty well. Also, the soundtrack to the Apocalypse sucks.

Review:
I decided to read this story based on the title alone, which, to be perfectly honest, isn't a great idea most of the time. This time, however, I was pleasantly surprised.

Fleshflutter did an excellent job balancing the angst and the crack in this story. It's truly hilarious how Sam ended up choosing the path of The Whore (*cough*, I mean, Beloved Consort), and in doing so, gained support from both Demons and Angels (after reading the story, you will find out they aren't that different). Dean angsts over having to have sex with Sam a bit, but he comes around in the end (Sam does NOT force Dean in anyway). While some may find the entire premise somewhat disturbing, I started the story thinking it's completely crack and thus wasn't bothered by it in the slightest.

A highly enjoyable plot plus fantastic supporting characters and loads of quirkiness and just enough angst to keep an angst-phile like me happy. Totally made of WIN!
