A true slash epic where an emperor seeks love (and perhaps marriage) in one of the most dangerous and controversial places. Gregor and Miles' road to happiness is paved with danger, political intrigue, and copious amounts of what Miles would call 'excitement'. Lives are threatened (and sometimes terminated) and the future of an entire empire is at stake (repeatedly). Although you may find the general premise to be somewhat similar, this is not Pru's Drastically Redefining Protocol.
These stories are action packed (complete with shit being blown up! Regularly!) with just the right mix of tender romance to melt your heart. Highly recommended.
In addition to being a brilliant author, Sahiya (aka Stacey) is also a very nice person. She will try to answer every single fic comment, no matter how long ago the story was posted. She is polite, friendly, approachable, which can be rather rare traits for a BNF in some fandoms. Although one's personality usually has no bearing on one's writing skills, it is refreshing to know that, while readers respect an author's hard work and creativity, some authors also respect the readers who take time to read and give feedback on his/her work.
