While Bertie is visiting Aunt Dahlia (he's on the run from Aunt Agatha, natch), he finds himself embroiled in a tiff between Angela, who has hired a tennis coach to help improve her backswing, and Tuppy, who is determined to get rid of the (exceedingly attractive and French) coach. Things get dramatically worse when Bertie realizes that even Jeeves has been caught up in the coach's good looks.

Epic Jeeves and Wooster fic! Really and truly epic, as the story comes in at well over 50,000 words. Yay!

For those looking for something a little more eloquent, I will say that this story does take a bit of time to get going (there's a frame story involved) but it takes off by the second part and by part four you will not be able to put it aside (even if it is two in the morning and you have to work the next day). The angst! The relationship drama! Bertie propositioning Jeeves and his subsequent noble efforts to help Jeeves hook up with (the assumed) object of his affections! Jeeves, brilliant in all other aspects, completely at a loss when it comes to the one thing he wants more than anything else! The spot-on Wodehousian language! Bertie being sweet (albeit an idiot)! Angela being awesome! Fires! Jeeves's horrible pajamas! Have I mentioned the angst?

As you can probably tell, I'm really excited about this fic. One of the best (and certainly the longest) Jeeves and Wooster stories I've ever read.
