Review:
As I mentioned before, Starsky and Hutch is a treasure trove for hurt/comfort. In A Fine Storm, Suzan Lovett takes the cliché where the “comfort” in the h/c scenario turns to sex and runs with it. The story is all about misunderstandings and the tension and heartache that follow.

Though technically a sequel to another author’s short story, A Fine Storm works perfectly well as a standalone. It also references a number of specific episodes, but for those of you who don’t know the show well, it does a pretty good job of cluing you in to the need-to-know bits.

This is another classic in the fandom, and just an all-around lovely read.
