Moving On by Alyjude (NC-17)

Title: Moving On
Fandom: The Sentinel
Pairing: Jim/Blair
Categories: fluff, melodrama
Length: long-ish
Warnings: n/a

Author on LJ: n/a?

Review:
Blair has a brilliant idea to get him and Jim together: he tells Jim that he's moving out. Shockingly enough, that plan backfires.

As I've mentioned before Alyjude is one of my favorite guilty pleasure authors, and this fic is one of her tastier pop-tarts (for those who don't know, pop-tarts are essentially fluffy fanfic). Combine Jim being thick and Simon being awesome with copious amounts of Blair-whumpage, and you've got the perfect way to while away an hour or two.

OT Underwater Light Formatting
I am a lurker without a Livejournal account so I thought I'd post this over here.

Quotes not being displayed as quotes is an encoding problem. To change the encoding (my default is Unicode/UTF-8, which shows ? instead of quotes when reading the first two chapters of UL at fictionalley) you do:
In IE: View - Encoding - choose "Western (Windows)"
In Firefox: View - Character Encoding - choose "Western (ISO-8859-1)"
That turns all the ? in nice little " ;-)

By the way, I have found several great stories through your recs, so this is also a big THANK YOU for your time and effort!

Re: OT Underwater Light Formatting
I actually did fiddle with the encoding a bit, but my patience for stuff like this is very low (especially since my current encoding works for every other story I've read, which leads me to believe that the author used some veddy, veddy strange quotes). Thanks for the tip! (And I'm glad you're enjoying the reviews:)
