I'm a sucker for fics in which the main characters fake being a couple during an under-cover investigation. But this one is especially well-written.
VampirePam takes the time to set a well-thought crime and to plot a real case-file fic.
The characters are clearly in character and their banter is spot on. I love the enthusiasm shown by Monroe in the first parts...
Monroe and Nick relationships evolution feel very much real neither rushed nor slow.
I also enjoyed the OC. They are necessary to the fic and written with both care and competence. So go and read it now. You won't regret it.
