Summary:
With the beginning of Arthur’s reign and the unbanning of sorcery, a new era of communication begins in Albion. Soon even parchment will be obsolete! (Warning: Here be puns.)

Or, Camelot gets magical social networking.

Review:
This fic had me giggling almost non-stop. If you're a fan of silly puns, use any social media, and enjoy Merlin's fuzzy anachronistic take on setting, this is the fic for you. Most of all, I'm impressed that it all makes some kind of bizarre sense. If everyone in Camelot knows about magic now, and Merlin is using his magic to help with communication, why WOULDN'T he come up with strange new ways send information about the local tournament? With people being how they are, why WOULDN'T others expand on the idea in strange new ways (such as Sir Craig and his list). Read it for the LOLcats and the sparrows and Gwen's posts and, above all, the hilarity. I'd almost like to quote all the silly things in the story, but referencing them would spoil the surprise.

“Merlin, are you sure this isn’t getting out of hand?” Gaius asks when Merlin gets back to his chambers, Hyperlynx still chattering excitedly at his heels.

Merlin throws his hands in the air, finally startling the cat away. “What’s getting out of hand? A new era of communication? Being connected to every corner of the kingdom, always knowing what’s going on?”

“But it’s not just that, is it,” Gaius says, tone taking on an edge of condescension. “I think you may be becoming too invested.”

“At least it’s better than your snail mail,” Merlin retorts.

Gaius draws himself up, mouth tightening. “I’ll have you know that that snail is at least half-way to your mother by now!”
