Review:
I said it once and I'll say it again. I love vampire fiction and especially when it's as well thought out and executed as this story. Again a very well developed universe that gives us a glimpse at vampire society and how it came about.

Jaye is a big fan of Karl Urban and as such has written fanfiction in fandoms like Lord of the Rings, Pathfinder, Star Trek, Chronicles of Riddick, Hercules, Comanche Moon, The Bourne Supremacy and RPS. I love her style of writing and she manages to portray her characters so perfectly that you can't help but fall in love with everyone of them, no matter if they are lead or supporting.

First Blood tells a tale about betrayal, revenge, hope and in the end of love. It has a semi happy end and if you are ever the optimistic dreamer, like me, you will decide that it will in fact end happily in the long run.
