Review:
I never would have guessed that anyone could take a screwball comedy like ‘Clue’ and use it as a basis for such a serious fic as this one. It just doesn’t seem to fit; at least that’s what I would have thought before I read this. Told through a series of possible scenarios (just like in the movie), Mr. Green is transformed from just another part of the comic relief to a fully realized person, one who must hide who he truly is but also use it to his advantage (even if he doesn’t want to).

I really loved that the author took the time to include historical figures and tidbits and mold the entire story to fit around the movie. Which it does superbly, so much so that I’ll happily take this as my personal canon from Mr. Green from here on out and likely do a re-read the next time I watch the movie. All in all, if you’re a fan of the movie or just want to read a clever take on Mr. Green’s background, this is the fic to read.
