Summary: (A loan officer in Gotham is trying to save the city one rejected loan application at a time.

“Comedy clubs, joke shops, novelty stores. You’ve turned down every single application for businesses of this kind. You even turned down a proposal from one of the country’s most reputable clown training schools.” He sounded completely mystified.

Review: This story is both an interesting take on Batman and on how a Gothamite would view the world of business in Gotham. The main (original) character is intersting and a good POV character to show both the life of your average Gotham citizen, and one of the people Batman saved.

My one complaint is that the main character's accidental meeting with Bruce Wayne seems a bit contrived, though it does give the reader (who knows about Bruce's alternate identity) interesting insight into what makes Batman tick.
