Author's Summary:
President Luthor gets caught on film cheating on his husband, Clark Kent...with Superman.
Review:
Set in a future where Lex is president, Clark is his husband and deeply entrenched in his nerdy reporter persona. The world has no idea he's Superman.
It's told from the point of view of a photojournalist, who is astonished to discover Superman and President Luthor kissing on a balcony. When the pictures he takes are published, the country erupts in controversy. We the audience of course know the truth, and it's really interesting to see both the media's and Lex's reactions to the "infidelity," and the eventual outcome during an official press conference (spoiler: it's a very happy ending).
This is one of my all-time favorites. I love the outsider perspective on the couple, especially the contrast between their behavior in public and in private, and the way their secret affects that behavior. The only pity is that the story isn't longer; I would have loved to see the fall out of the ending.
