I think a quote from Jack himself is the best way to sum the story up: "One day, after you’re gone, when Torchwood is just a memory and the Human race has taken to the stars, I'll go to that Café and I'll have a cup coffee and think of you. Remember you,"

The Grand Cafe is a fluffy bit of fic, good for giving you the warm and fuzzies. I love a good Jack remembering Ianto throughout time fic, and this is a great and creative representation of the genre, with the added twist of a trip though time.
