Title: Black Swans by omphalos and Wolfling
Fandom: Supernatural
Pairing: Sam/Gabriel
Categories: AU, angst, action, hurt/comfort
Length: Epic (~66,000 words)
Warnings: n/a

Review:
Team Free Will brings around an end to the apocalypse in a different way than canon: namely by powering up Sam with Angel Blood and letting him loose on Lucifer. Unfortunately the resulting explosion throws Sam and Dean (and their respective angels) to, literally, the opposite sides of the country. You know what that means: road trip!
As someone who doesn't read incest fic, my Supernatural reading has ended up being very Dean heavy, which is why I was so thrilled when Sam picked up a fanon angel of his own. While Dean and Castiel tend to be very moody and angsty, Sam and Gabriel are more melodramatic and have a tendency toward being drama queens, which is a different and enjoyable dynamic. Mix in some Sam and Gabriel bitchery, cameos from Dean and Castiel, and all of the fun of a post-apocalyptic road trip (zombie vampires! demon clouds! literal ghost towns!) and you have solid action fic for Sam/Gabriel fans.
