Review: I love this fic for its characters - Sheldon and Penny and even Leonard are spot-on (and Leonard is actually more likable than he is in the show). I love this fic because Penny finds success. But mostly I love this fic for the story-within-a-story, the awesomely trashy sci-fi novel Starship Olisbos. This is exactly the kind of plot that a fandom like this needs and deserves. There's so much potential hilarity involved in that kind of scenario, and this fic lives up to it and more.

I really liked the way this story was laid out - the non-linear way it was told - and the way that the characters don't come to realizations right as the reader does. I suppose what I mean is that the timing and the timeline in the story are done differently (and better) than in a lot of the Big Bang Theory fic that I've read. It's such a unique story, without losing the show's feeling or humor, and I only wish that it was a little longer (and maybe that the fake novel was real, haha).
