The author's summary for this story is John McClane versus slow, suburban torture, which is pretty accurate. No outlandish or implausible characters here, just an endless stream of quirky (in a real life sort of way) OCs subjecting John to (in his words) "a never-ending perp-walk". Funny, homey, and utterly unlike anything I've ever read in this fandom, this fic is just plain fun to read.
