Review:
After the events of the Denn’sha, Marcus begins to heal and Neroon has four major revelations.

Similar to other stories in the Babylon 5 fandom, ‘Patterns’ is set around the events of the Denn’sha and what becomes of the relationship (or should I say non-relationship?) between Marcus and Neroon because of it. It’s a delightful story and one of my favorite versions of what happens post-battle between the two. They’re relationship, when it comes, doesn’t happen out of nowhere but begins with a friendship that blooms from their mutual respect of each other’s skills as a warrior and the drive to want to understand each other better. Marcus and Neroon both shine in this, as individual characters and as a couple, and make you believe that, in spite of how they met, they’re evenly matched in all the ways that count.
