Review:
Jim Kirk has something of a stalker…but is he really a stalker when Jim is sort of stalking him back?

The first thing you need to know is that this is a High School AU, which is to say that it’s cracky and delicious. Seriously. This is one of my favorite Star Trek XI alternate universe fics. It’s quirky, funny, and doesn’t dwell heavily on all the melodrama that seems to surround most high school based plots. Even the characterization – always important when dealing with Trek fics – was surprisingly well done, slotting nicely into the universe without stretching far from canon.

In the end, however, I think the thing that drew me in the most about this story is that Spock has a crush, one that he deals with in his own unique way, which in turn makes Jim have a crush, which he pretty much doesn’t know what to do with. How can you not find that endearing? Or utterly entertaining?
