Review:
When I first dove into AI fic, I only wanted to read gen Kradam fics, but this is the fic that converted me over to the pairing as a viable romance. The characterization is gorgeous. Kris’s and Adam’s voices ring completely true (even if the author's Kris swears more than most portrayals) and the strength of their connection is clear right out of the gate.

I particularly appreciated how the author handled the issue of Kris and Katy’s marriage: what had been, for me, a major obstacle to enjoying this slash pairing. Thankfully, ink_like_blood does not villainize or blow off Katy nor is there any infidelity. The divorce is handled particularly well. The split is amicable, the result of two people growing apart, but it is not brushed off as no big deal in the rush to get to the boys having sex. The story is, in fact, all about Kris recovering from the blow and, in the aftermath, coming to realize what he has with Adam.

Simply gorgeous.
