Title: Two Seconds Without You, an Eternity by Your Side (Brush and Ink Remix)
Fandom: Bleach
Pairing: Matsumoto/Gin, Hitsugaya/Matsumoto [oh-emm-gee, I'm reccing het]
Categories: drama, remix, angst, romance
Length: Medium [~12,000 words]
Warnings: extremely spoilery for the first Soul Society Arc
Author on LJ:

Review:
The daily journals of several pivotal shinigami, before (and after) the great plot gambit of Bleach unfolds. Told from several POVs via their journals, the protagonists are still clearly Matsumoto and Hitsugaya.
This is a gem of a story - it's one of the Remix Community's remixes, and while the original story by Aviss was also good and worth reading, I happened to love the remix more. Every character seemed spot on, down to what they called their journal [Gin's Notething - hah!]. There is murder between the lines, and the death of a romance - and the beginning of a new one. No sex, but that's very much a "yet". Also, there's some welcome speculation about the power-gender imbalance in Soul Society.
Two Seconds Without You, an Eternity by Your Side (Brush and Ink Remix)
There is a link to the original in the remix, if you're curious.
